Sangamon Valley Log Builders was started over 30 years ago by Owner and President Jeff Fore. As an official independent dealer for Gastineau Log Homes of Missouri, we bring only the highest quality oak log homes to our clients. We are based out of Central Illinois and depending on the services you are looking for we can help you no matter where you are located in the world. Whether you’re looking for a turnkey construction, with everything completed for you from start to finish, or looking for someone to help you purchase the materials needed to construct yourself, Sangamon Valley Log Builders can help you. Jeff Fore
Jeffrey Fore, President of Sangamon Valley Log Builders, built his first log home in 1987, his residence. A considerable amount of interest from would-be log homeowners convinced him that he could sell and build log homes for a living. In 1990 Jeff Fore quit his job as an x-ray tech and started to open the doors of Sangamon Valley Log Builders. Over thirty years later, Jeff has sold and built over 100 log homes. Each home has its differences. Some rely on turn-key construction, some prefer a shell-only option, and a few only need some consulting, choosing to build independently.

If you’re looking for a turnkey option we contract with Prairie Land Construction to help get your project done. Prairie Land Construction has partnered with Sangamon Log Builders for 7 years and been an essential partner in our the completion of our turnkey log cabins and servicing homes for our existing customers.
